Rebecca at our featured charity, The Rivers Trust reflects on what it’s like to be a woman in the conservation sector as we approach #InternationalWomensDay this 8th March. 

Institutional issues that impact all women in the workforce, such as PPE being ill-fitting for women and potentially causing dangerous situations due to it being designed for men, is just one of the small but impactful things that are often overlooked. 

But being conscious of issues like childcare, pay-gaps, and even menopausal symptoms in the workplace, are just some of the things The Rivers Trust is doing to combat this and make a difference. But is it enough? And what more can other organisations be doing?
