Starry, starry nights - Dark Skies Festival

Dark night sky in the countryside, text reads: Dark Skies Festival

A star-filled sky is one of nature's most natural wonders, crucial for wildlife and naturally functioning ecosystems but they’re increasingly under threat. That’s why the North York Moors National Park Association have teamed up with other National Parks around the country for yet another annual Dark Skies Festival to celebrate our starry skies and teach the public about their importance throughout February. From astronomy and astrophotography workshops, to nocturnal nature evenings and night-time bike rides, there’s something for everyone! To learn more about how important our threatened starry skies are to wildlife, how you can help, and more about the festival, head here: https://c-js.uk/47UPf8a
