Restart a Heart Day 2019

Do you know how to restart a heart? Know your ABCs? Do you have "Stayin' Alive" thrumming through your head?
Wonderful, you're halfway there.  Now what about the person next to you?

Today is the British Heart Foundation's Restart a Heart Day which raises awareness about cardiac arrest and helps people to learn CPR, giving them life saving skills and the confidence to use them. In 2018, an amazing 238,793 were trained in CPR through Restart a Heart Day.
There is a range of resource on their website, tailored to School, Work & Office, and Community settings plus basic information on how to restart a heart in 6 easy steps (not sure it's ever easy but the steps are simple).
If it's time to renew your first aid certificate, add some extra elements e.g. paediatric, defibrillator or site specific such as forestry have a look at what's currently being listed on our Training Directory here.
