The Lee Valley Regional Park. London, Hertfordshire and Essex

The Lee Valley Regional Park runs for 26 miles broadly aligned with the River Lea and is accessible to many of the deprived communities within London. 
15 leisure venues provide a large number of activities. These coupled with the natural landscape and the extensive lattice of paths for either cycling or walking provide huge recreation opportunities for local communities. 
Looking to the future the Park will play an increasingly important role in mitigating the effects of climate change.
