It's wild and woolly out there!

After days of warm, calm days yesterday it started raining and overnight it really caught up with the seasons, blustery winds and heavy rain.  This morning I had to go across the moors to Pickering, 11 miles away, it was not a nice journey! Windscreen wipers on double, headlights to see through the fog and a slalom course to try to avoid the rapidly deepening ponds on the road. It has died down somewhat now but the forecast is for more of the same overnight and into tomorrow morning, Hebe and I will just have to get wet again on our morning excursion.
