Develop your survey skills through the UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme

Imagine taking a walk while the sun is shining and butterflies of all shapes and sizes are fluttering around you. Sounds like the perfect day, right? 

If that does sound like the perfect day, then why not help Butterfly Conservation this #MicroVolunteeringDay by walking along a fixed route and counting all the butterflies you see?! All it takes is two survey visits over July and August, that only take about an hour, are a great way to discover new things and learn more about wildlife, and make a real difference in conservation efforts across the UK.
