Norfolk’s celebration of nature
Today is #NorfolkDay and in celebration of the event Norfolk Wildlife Trust tells us more about how they manage the county’s natural heritage. Naturalists, and bird-watchers in particular, have known the value of the county for over a hundred years. For few other counties have such a diversity of habitats so close to each other. Norfolk has beaches, dunes and salt marshes sitting cheek by jowl with ancient woodland, heaths and flower rich grassland.
