In a talk providing brilliant insight in to exactly what an employer is looking for in applications and interviews, Lizzy Pinkerton from Belfast Hills Partnership walks us along the recruitment path – Northern Ireland is specific in some of the processes but this talk is amazingly useful for anyone across the UK applying for roles in the conservation sector.

Think really carefully about whether you meet the criteria before you apply. Essential criteria are just that, essential. Always take the time to read the guidance notes. There could be something in there, that if you don’t take on board, can eliminate you from the process before you’ve even got started.
