In our latest job profile article, we highlight Kath who works at the Leckford Estate for Waitrose, as she tells us that one of the main focuses of the role has been to create a monitoring scheme. This way they can gather baseline data and monitor the trends and fluctuations of the estates’ biodiversity. By formally recording the wildlife they have today, they can see what effect land management practices are having on wildlife and tailor their practical conservation work to encourage priority species.
