British Hedgehog Preservation Society – the hedgehog conservation charity

Despite being voted Britain’s Favourite Wild Mammal, hedgehog numbers have been declining for many years. 

This UN International Day of Charity we are highlighting the incredible work The British Hedgehog Society is doing to look after our only prickly mammal. From operating phone lines for the public who find injured or orphaned wild hedgehogs and giving guidance and best practice on how to be more hedgehog friendly, to fundraising and partnering with multiple conservation organisations and charities.
