CJS are not the only ones celebrating a 'big' birthday this year.

TCV has been around for an incredible 60 years this year and will tell you all about what they've achieved in an edition later this year.  Our local long distance route and National Trail, the Cleveland Way, is twice as old as CJS at fifty. Doubling that again is the Forestry Commission who are in their centenary year and wrote a little about it in last month's CJS Focus on Volunteering: Celebrating 100 years of forestry and raising awareness of volunteering, read it here and with some big changes looming they have a lot to tell us about next month.
