After all the doom gloom here's something silly and light hearted.
When rummaging around the internet looking for things to tie
in with countryside subjects we stumbled across Something On A Stick Day. And
well, as Terry Pratchett fans just couldn't resist!
Any CMOT* Dibbler fans? Sausage onna stick, Sausage inna
bun! Sound familiar? Once tasted never
forgotten claims Mr Dibbler, purveyor of meat based products and only member of
the Guild of C.M.O.T. Dibblers of Ankh Morpork.
After our little trip down the wrong trouser-leg-of-time no
matter how hard I try I don't think I can link it to countryside jobs, except
maybe to remind everyone when visiting their local shows and events to dispose of
their sticks carefully! But it was fun.
Back to the round world…
