We have some snow

The main road through Goathland at 8:30 this morning.

As you can see it's a little bit white!  And quite dark because it was still snowing (still is).
Officially the village is cut off with the main A169 closed between Sleights and Pickering.  Totally unscientifically an hour ago the snow on the back lawn was approx eleven inches (water bottle pushed into the middle and then tide line measured), probably more now because it hasn't stopped and my footprints to the feeders are half covered already.
Anyway, CJS soldiers on with various scattered Team members working from home whilst the office is relaying info back and forth.  For now we are open and running as usual, if a little slower than normal.  We'll keep you posted.
