Spring

Well, it's officially spring now as the vernal equinox was over the weekend. And today you can really believe it (well we could until someone said it's going to snow again in a few weeks time - and yes Metcheck do have the odd snow flake!).
It wasn't quite warm enough to have lunch outside but coffee was enjoyed alfresco to the sight of the first butterflies, two small tortoiseshells warming themselves on the bare earth and sipping delicately from the spring heathers and the mini daffs, not sure they can get the nectar from these but it looked pretty.
